"Tonedale House proved to be the ideal location for my 50th birthday weekend with 24 friends and family. Peter and the team were well organised from start to finish, offering ideas and making sure that everything we wanted was arranged perfectly. The house had a real buzz to it with 24 people but had plenty of rooms such that we didn't feel on top of each other. The drop off meal on Friday was spot on - well cooked, homely food. But, even better was the Saturday night dinner. Gavin, the chef from the catering company, cooked to perfection and the staff were attentive. We could not fault the food and Gavin was happy to tweak plans on the night to accommodate last minute changes of plan! The party room was well used and the games room brought out the competitive side of some people - as well as lots of laughs. We were blessed to have good weather all weekend despite it being October so we were able to make full use of the grounds for playing croquet and boule (all supplied by the house) and drinking wine! All told, a terrific weekend in a great house - thanks to Peter and the team."
