Booking

The deposit on booking is a third of the house hire. The balance is due 12 weeks before arrival and the cautionary deposit (see below) 3 weeks before arrival.

Yes, we take credit cards (not Amex), debit cards or bank transfer.

At Tone Dale House this is £1000, due 4 weeks before you arrive. It’s refunded once the house is cleaned after your stay.

We have a £25 booking fee when you book. The house hire includes everything for your self-catering stay. There are no extra charges for cleaning, heating, bedding, towels etc.

Similar to travelling outside the UK, we advise this, in case of unforeseen events that might affect your booking. Please ensure you have read our cancellation policy before booking.

We are happy to welcome mature hen and stag groups, but please contact us in advance of booking to discuss your group, age range and plans for your stay.

Some of the bedrooms interlink, for example Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 5. The shared bathroom is curtained rather than with a door.

Bedroom 9 and 10 interlink through the bathroom which has a thick curtain divider rather than a door. Please check the property plan and ensure this arrangement suits your group.

PRE-ARRIVAL

The main supermarkets deliver to the house. Please arrange it for after your arrival, as we don’t have a team member at the house to take it in for you.

You are welcome to bring up to 2 well behaved dogs. Please arrange this before your stay. There is a charge of £15 per dog per night, (payable direct to the owner. Dogs are not allowed upstairs, in bedrooms, or on furniture and must be supervised while in the garden and cleaned up after.

There are recommended chefs on our website. Experience has shown us that it’s best for you to arrange it direct. Then you can discuss menu options, dietary requirements and budget with the chef.

If you’d like to find your own chef, that’s fine. Please ensure you have sent the public liability insurance to the house manager, prior to your chef arriving at the house.

ARRIVING AT COTSWOLD MANOR

Usually it’s self check-in.

When you book, we will introduce you to Kerri, the house manager, via email. She will provide information about your arrival and she is your contact during your stay, if you have any problems.

Generally arrival time is 4pm and departure time on Sunday is 4pm, weekdays 10am. If you have different requirements please get in touch.

A few days before your stay, the house manager get in touch and arrange your check-in. When you arrive at the house, the manager will show how all the important things work.

Evesham Station is 2.5 miles. It’s GWR with services to Worcester, Oxford and London Paddington.

Birmingham Airport is 33 miles, Gloucestershire Airport 24 miles, Bristol Airport 70 miles & London Heathrow 95 miles.

WHAT’S AT THE COTSWOLD MANOR

There is an old stone wall around the garden, but this isn’t totally secure for dogs or children. They will need to be supervised.

A ‘starter pack’ of the following items, sufficient for two-three days normal use, will be provided:
Liquid Soap, Toilet paper, Dishwasher powder, Washing-up liquid,Bin liners, Foil, Cling film, Rubbish bags Salt, Pepper (grinders only)
Please note – Personal toiletries are not provided.

Yes we do. For each guest there is a bath towel and hand towel.

Definitely. The kitchen has all you need to cook for a large group.

Cafetières are provided for ground coffee

There isn’t anything at the house, please bring your own speaker if you would like to play music.

There is a gas barbecue.

There are garden tables and chairs.

There are 2 cots and 2 high chairs.

Yes, there is croquet and badminton.

DURING YOUR STAY

No sorry, because of the location of the house, next to a thatched Tithe barn and for general fire safety.

Yes, if your decorations are free standing. But it’s not possible to attach anything to wall or paintwork as it can pull the paint off.

Yes. For smaller group the dining room can be set up with 1 table and for bigger groups there will be 2 tables parallel to each other.

The WIFI works well in most areas of the property. The code will be available for you at the house.

Sorry, not at the moment, our insurance doesn’t allow it.

Cotswold Manor is in a small hamlet and we ask you to respect the neighbours and keep noise levels to a normal level after 11pm at weekends. If you wish to play music above this level, please do so inside, with the doors closed.

No, this isn’t possible. It’s a statutory regulation.

Yes there are 2. One upstairs and one downstairs.

You can walk to The Ivy Inn at North Littleton, which is about half a mile away, a 15 minute stroll.

DEPARTURE

We ask that you empty the kitchen bins and put out all recycling. Please leave the kitchen surfaces tidy, put the last of your washing up in the dishwasher and leave the house tidy. If you have moved any furniture please would you put it back.

There is no need to strip the beds.

On Sundays it’s up till 4pm and weekdays is 10am.
