Riverside House Frequently Asked Questions
Booking
The deposit on booking is a third of the house hire. The balance is due 12 weeks before arrival and the cautionary deposit (see below) 4 weeks before arrival.
Yes, we take credit cards (not Amex), debit cards or bank transfer.
At Riverside House this is £1500 due 4 weeks before you arrive. It’s refunded in 7 days assuming no damage has been reported.
The only additional cost is £450 for cleaning. This is paid directly to the owners.
We must have a complete list of your party, for safety and insurance reasons. If you don’t have all the details when you book, you can send it to us at a later date (Before your arrival) We don’t use this information for any other purposes.
Similar to travelling outside the UK, we advise this, in case of unforeseen events that might effect your booking. Please ensure you have read our cancellation policy before booking.

PRE-ARRIVAL
Yes, please. The owner will need to know how you would like the rooms set up, 2 weeks before you arrive is ideal.
Yes, dogs are welcome (by prior arrangement) to stay with you. There is a charge of £50 per dog payable to the owner.
ARRIVING AT RIVERSIDE HOUSE
Arrival time is 3pm and departure time is 10am.
A Late checkout (6pm) may be available at an additional: £200 (Only available subject to no group arriving that day)
WHAT’S AT THE RIVERSIDE HOUSE
No Towels are not provided at this property.
Yes, there is a woodburning stove. Logs are provided.
There is 1 cot and 1 high chair that you are welcome to use.
